Quebec turns out to be the first Canadian province to sign a deal with Ottawa to support tackle current labour shortages.
The province recently announced that, the Government of Canada is initiating rules to make it easier to hire temporary workers in Quebec.
After months of discussions, Quebec has reached a settlement with the Canadian federal government to initiate three new measures to assist employers and businesses facing labour shortages. Quebec becomes the first province to reach such a deal with the Canadian Government to solve its present workforce calamity. Labour shortages, which existed in Quebec before the Covid-19 pandemic, have deteriorated in the past couple of months with the economy recovering.
