Without further ado, let’s begin the video and talk about How to Extend Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) Visa or Permanent Residence (PR) Visa
Please keep in mind that, when you are authorized to immigrate to Canada, you are sent either a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) or a Permanent Residence Visa. You will generally be given 6 months to “land” in Canada (i.e. come to Canada) from the day the COPR/Visa is granted.
After you “land” in Canada (your COPR is authenticated) your COPR never expires. Nevertheless, if you do not “land” in Canada in time, your COPR or PR Visa will expire.
